MSK

Is It Me? Series

WHAT WE'RE DOING

The Is It Me? Series was sparked from the professional experiences of MSK’s Founder & CEO, who’s also a Global Executive with over 20 years of experience navigating the psychological aspects of being a woman of color in corporate America.

The first installment of the Is It Me? Series focused on our shared experiences throughout our career journeys and the tools to help propel our success.

The first installment took place Saturday, July 29, 2023, in Atlanta, GA, and consisted of cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and networking, followed by a discussion featuring a panel of successful female professionals of color from various industries.

WHY WE'RE DOING IT

The Is It Me? event series was designed to fill a void in professional development and advancement opportunities for women of color.  Many of us have navigated our careers absent a support system that acknowledges the invisible barriers, microaggressions, and disparate treatment that often underpin professional environments.

Through the Is It Me? Series, we set out to validate our lived experiences and share tailored resources and tactics to better equip other women of color in maneuvering within their own business endeavors.

The Is It Me? Series has been met with overwhelming interest as the first of its kind, and we are excited about the next installment.
